During this current period of adjustment, JKA Australia is working toward becoming compliant with the standards and practices of the JKA World Federation.
Unfortunately, the previously endorsed practices of JKA Australia have left us with no formally qualified examiners, within our local region.
Sensei Jim Wood (MBE) has kindly agreed to conduct Grading Exams in South Australia, with full authorization and endorsement by JKA HQ.
Until these qualification shortages have been addressed, the only opportunity to be tested by an ‘ Authorised ’, ‘Qualified’ Examiner, within Australia, is to attend this event.
Sensei Dion Risborg and a small team of South Australians will be travelling to Japan in October to begin rectifying these qualification shortages.
The South Australian team will be joining a group of approximately 15 to 20 other Australians, all heading to Japan for the JKA HQ Gasshuku, in October.
As part of JKA’s “Open Door Policy”, this event is available to all members of JKA.
As July is in the new ‘financial year’, attendees will be required to provide evidence that they have renewed their membership with JKA.
No Membership – No Entry, sorry.
